Fat Dissolving Injections

Permanently get rid of hard to remove pockets of fat.

The next generation in permanent fat dissolving

Described as ‘lunchtime liposuction’ and a ‘fat-melting wonder treatment’, we are delighted to offer the latest generation of fat dissolving injections for face and body. DesoBody and DesoFace is an amazing treatment for treating generalised fat deposits on the face and body, along with stubborn fat pockets that don’t seem to diminish no matter how much we diet and exercise.

Deso is the newest face and body fat dissolving injection formula on the market to date. It contains the active ingredient sodium deoxycholate (deoxycholic acid) which is a special, FDA- approved, medical detergent to break down fat cells, permanently removing them from the body. It has been shown to be safer, more effective and more comfortable than other older fat dissolvers on the market.

DesoBody and DesoFace Fat dissolving injections work by destroying fat cells by damaging the fat cell membrane and liquifying the fat in the treatment area. The destroyed fat cells are then broken down and removed naturally through the body’s lymphatic system.

The two types of treatment we offer, and these are defined by the different areas of the body.

This treatment is used to targeted at areas of the body where stubborn fat may reside. These areas may include: abdomen, flanks, back, underarms, inner knees, upper and lower arms, bra fat and inner thighs.

This treatment is used to target areas of the face where stubborn fat may reside. These may include double chins, jowls, and neck fat.

This treatment is ideal for patients with moderate body weight or who are slightly overweight with stubborn, localized fatty deposits, which appear resistant to diet and physical activity.

Treatment Areas

  • Double chin
  • Inner thighs
  • Back fat
  • Saddle bags
  • Stomach/abdomen
  • Arms
  • Knees
  • Top of the back/buffalo hump
  • Flanks
  • Lipomas

Treatment time depends on number and size of areas being treated but is generally 30-60 minutes and you’re able to carry on your day as normal afterwards.

This depends on the area being treated, the amount of fat in that area and client expectations. Generally 1-3 treatments may be needed.

You may have some tenderness, bruising and swelling after the procedures. There may also be some transient numbness in the area. An occurrence of painful nodules is usual and transient and it is a consequence of an inflammatory process that develops when fat is dissolved. Three days after the treatment, massages and the usual exercises may begin. It is recommended to drink from 1.5 to 2 liters of  water a day. Some more serious complications include infection, skin necrosis or irregularities and allergic reactions.

Because the treated fat cells are permanently destroyed, the effect is permanent in persons who maintain their weight.

Treatment is suitable for people who have normal BMI or are overweight with hard to remove fat areas resistant to exercise and dieting. It is not suitable for the following people:

  • Pregnancy/Breastfeeding
  • Infection/inflammation at the injection site

it is not recommended to spend time in the sun or use sunbeds and although exercise is encouraged to help enhance the effects, vigorous and demanding physical activity should be avoided for 4 weeks. It is recommended to wear a support garment for 1-2 weeks afterwards to aid results. Gentle massage of the areas treated may help encourage fat drainage.
